Data Protection & Cookie Statement
Data protection
Our privacy policy explains which information we gather, how we use it and why.
Information we collect
As a matter of principle, it is possible to visit our website without needing to provide any personal data. The only information collected is that given by your Internet provider (especially the IP address assigned to you). We only store this information for the duration of your website visit; we only analyse the information for statistical purposes, and each user remains anonymous.
Contact forms
In relation to data provided via contact forms, we store your name as well as your postal and e-mail addresses until we are finished handling your query. We do not use these data for purposes other than your query. By submitting your information via contact forms, you agree to the storage and processing of your name as well as your postal and e-mail addresses for the purpose of handling your query in full.
Please be aware that data transfer via the Internet (e.g. e-mail communication) is not always fully secure. It is not possible to protect fully against third parties accessing your data.
Right to information
We will inform you upon request and at no charge if we store and process your personal data and which of your data. We will rectify incorrect data that are brought to our attention.
Contact
Please contact office@ell.co.at in relation to any queries, explanations and questions on data usage.
Right to withdraw
You have the right to revoke your agreement to our using your personal data at any time. Please e-mail office@ell.co.at and we will delete your data immediately.
Data for sending our newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we will store the data you have submitted on a server. We use those data for the sole purpose of sending our e-mail newsletter. The data sets are used for statistical analyses to evaluate system performance. We neither share your data with third parties nor do we use them for any other purposes of our own. Our registration system sends an additional confirmation e-mail containing a link for final registration (a so-called double opt-in procedure), thus making sure that you expressly wish to receive the newsletter and that you agree to the storage and processing of your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter and for statistical analyses to evaluate system performance.
You can revoke your newsletter subscription and your consent to the storage and processing of your e-mail address at any time by e-mailing office@ell.co.at . Should that happen, we will immediately delete any information you have entered onto our system or provided to us.
Cookies
To improve the usability of our website for you, we use small text files known as ‘cookies’ to track user preferences and to optimise our website design accordingly. We do not, however, use cookies to track individual website visits. Cookies are used as standard by most websites nowadays. If you have any concerns in that regard, however, you can adjust your browser settings to prevent it from accepting cookies.
Google Analytics: data privacy and ways to object
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, text files which are saved on your computer and which enable analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is abbreviated beforehand within European Union Member States or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and abbreviated there. Google will use this information on behalf of this website operator for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services to the website operator relating to website activity and Internet usage. Google will not associate the IP address shared by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google. You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; please note, however, that if you do so, you may not be able to make use of the full functionality of this website. You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie, and related to your usage of the website (including your IP address), from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics
You will find general information on Google Analytics and data privacy at the Google Data Privacy Centre. This website uses the extension ‘anonymizeIp’ to ensure that IP addresses are gathered anonymously (IP masking).

YouTube plug-in
This website contains at least one plug-in provided by YouTube, part of Google Inc., headquartered in San Bruno, California, USA. As soon as you visit one of the pages of our website featuring a YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube’s servers will be established. The Youtube server thus learns which specific pages of our website you have visited. If you also happen to be logged into your YouTube account, it will be possible for YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your account in advance. For further information on the collection and use of your data by YouTube, see the information on data privacy at www.youtube.com.
