European Locomotive Leasing Group have signed another framework agreement for the delivery of 50 Vectron locomotives. The first locomotives from this new agreement have already been ordered and delivery will begin in the second quarter of 2016. The locomotives have a maximum output of 6,400 KW and a top speed of 200 km/h. The agreement also includes an option to order electric locomotives with Diesel Power Modules.

The European Locomotive Leasing Vectron fleet has already accumulated more than 35 million kilometres of service.

The locomotives are authorised for operation in Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, Norway, Austria, Poland (first European Locomotive Leasing Vectron MS since 17th May 2016), Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Turkey.
